A Near‐Infrared‐II Emissive Chromium(III) Complex

چکیده
The combination of π-donating amido with π-accepting pyridine coordination units in a tridentate chelate ligand causes strong nephelauxetic effect homoleptic CrIII complex, which shifts its luminescence to the NIR-II spectral range. Previously explored polypyridine complexes typically emit between 727 and 778 nm (in red NIR-I region), design strategies have so far concentrated on optimizing field strength. present work takes fundamentally different approach focusses increasing metal–ligand bond covalence shift ruby-like 2E emission 1067 at 77 K.

For over 80 years emissive probes have been used to measure plasma potential and a wide variety of methods for interpreting probe data now exists. Constructions, heating methods and measurement techniques are reviewed in detail and their various strengths and limitations are compared. Additionally, several novel uses for emissive probes, such as measuring electron temperature are presented. Thi...
متن کاملA highly emissive Cu2N2 diamond core complex supported by a [PNP]- ligand.
A Cu2N2 diamond core structure, {(PNP)CuI}2 (2), supported by a [PNP]- ligand (1) ([PNP]- = bis(2-(diisobutylphosphino)phenyl)amide) has been prepared. 2 is highly emissive at ambient temperature in both the solid and solution states and is characterized by a relatively long-lived excited state (tau > 10 mus) and an unusually high quantum yield (phi > 0.65). These observations are consistent wi...
متن کاملA dual-emissive ionic liquid based on an anionic platinum(ii) complex.
An ionic liquid fabricated from an anionic cyclometalated platinum(ii) complex and an imidazolium cation exhibits dual emission from the monomeric and aggregated forms of the platinum complex anions, leading to temperature-dependent color changes of luminescence.
متن کاملA resistively heated CeB6 emissive probe.
The plasma potential, V(p), is a key quantity in experimental plasma physics. Its spatial gradients directly yield the electrostatic field present. Emissive probes operating under space-charge limited emission conditions float close to V(p) even under time-varying conditions. Throughout their long history in plasma physics, they have mostly been constructed with resistively heated tungsten wire...
متن کاملGround- and excited-state electronic structure of an emissive pyrazine-bridged ruthenium(II) dinuclear complex.
The synthesis, characterization, and electrochemical, photophysical, and photochemical properties of the binuclear compounds [(Ru(H8-bpy)2)2((Metr)2Pz)](PF6)2 (1) and [(Ru(D8-bpy)2)2((Metr)2Pz)](PF6)2 (2), where bpy is 2,2'-bipyridine and H2(Metr)2Pz is the planar ligand 2,5-bis(5'-methyl-4'H-[1,2,4]triaz-3'-yl)pyrazine, are reported. Electrochemical and spectro-electrochemical investigations i...
